Privacy Policy

This policy explains what happens to your data when you use Be The President on Android (application ID com.bethepresident.be_the_president), published by Hussein Ammar ("we", "us").

The short version

We do not ask you for an account, a name or an email address. We collect no personal data and send nothing to our servers, because we do not operate any. Your game progress stays on your device only. The one thing that connects to the internet is Google AdMob advertising, which collects data on your device as described below.

1. What we do not collect

The game does not ask for, collect or store: your name, email address, phone number, date of birth, contacts, photos, files, precise (GPS) location, microphone or camera. There is no sign-in, no account, no profile, and no in-app purchase of any kind.

The game also contains no third-party analytics, behavioural tracking or crash-reporting tools.

2. What is stored on your device

The game saves the following in the app's own private storage on your device, and nowhere else:

Your progress through the story: chapter, meters, treasury, the decisions you made.
The language you chose.
Whether sound is on or off.

This data is never transmitted, is not accessible to us, and is deleted entirely when you uninstall the app.

3. Advertising

The game shows adverts through Google AdMob. When an advert is served, Google and its advertising partners may collect and process data on your device, including:

Your device's Advertising ID — an identifier you can reset or delete yourself in Android settings.
Your IP address, from which an approximate location (country or city, not a precise position) is inferred.
Device and operating-system information: model, Android version, language, screen size.
Your interaction with the advert: that it was shown, watched or tapped.

This data is used to select and measure adverts, limit repetition and prevent fraud. We do not receive it. All we get from Google is aggregate reporting — impression counts and revenue — from which no individual can be identified.

Google acts here as an independent data controller under its own policies:

4. Consent in Europe and the UK

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the game shows you a Google consent form (the UMP platform) on first launch, where you decide whether to accept personalised advertising. If you decline, adverts still appear but are non-personalised. You can change your choice at any time by reinstalling the app, or through your device's advertising settings.

5. Permissions the app requests

Permission	Why

`AD_ID` `ACCESS_ADSERVICES_*`	Added by the Google Mobile Ads library to serve and measure adverts.
`WAKE_LOCK` `FOREGROUND_SERVICE`	Added by the audio library so music is not cut off.

The app requests no location, camera, microphone, contacts or external-storage permissions.

6. Children

This game is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect any data from them. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided data through the game, write to us at the address below and we will act immediately.

7. Deleting your data

We hold no data about you to delete — we have no servers and no accounts. That said:

To delete your game progress: uninstall the app, or go to Android Settings → Apps → Be The President → Storage → Clear data.
To reset your Advertising ID: Android Settings → Privacy → Ads.
For anything else: write to us and we will reply within 30 days.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this page when a new feature changes something described above. The date at the top shows the last update, and the version published here is the one in force.
